Toyota Commercial Featuring Hatsune Miku
As much as I like Hatsune Miku, I can’t help but feel this is a little inappropriate…
Westernized version of Miku?? Looks like a dude…
I was expecting this to be a Japanese commercial, but was kind of surprised that it is instead an American one. Calling this new 2011 Corolla “the official car of Hatsune Miku” will probably get more Japanese people excited than those in the States.
Of course this may increase the popularity of Vocaloid in America, but judging from the large number of negative comments on Kotaku and YouTube, this still doesn’t look like a smart move. Oh well, at least English fans of Miku like me can go “Hell yeah Miku, the world is yours!!!”.
