If you’re single and have no one to spend Valentine’s Day with, here’s something to cheer you up. Mass Effect 3 demo will be up on 14 February 2012! ^^ Looks like both single and multiplayer mode will be available in the demo.

On the single-player front, you’ll get to experience the “mind-blowing opening attack on Earth” which kicks off the campaign then jump to later in the war for another mission. The co-op portion will pack two maps, and let you fiddle with the customization options. Split-screen co-op isn’t available so you can’t game with your room-mate I guess ^^”

Take note, the multiplayer portion will initially be locked off. Only folks who have redeemed a Battlefield 3 online pass or seized some other ways BioWare has yet to reveal will be able to co-op. Co-op gameplay will  open to the public on 17 February 2012.

Mass Effect 3 will be out on 6 March 2012 on platforms PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Preorder details below for those interested.
