AFA12 – Puella Magi Madoka Magica Movie Details

More information released regarding the movie screening of Puella Magi Madoka Magica! “Part 1: Beginning” and “Part 2: Eternal” of the movie trilogy will be screened at AFA12 this November on 10 and 11 November respectively.

Do note that this is a standalone screening and the AFA12 Festival + Stage tickets you purchased will not grant access to this segment. You will have to purchase the standalone tickets which are available this 24 October 2012 at an early bird price of SGD45. The offer will last only till 1 November 2012.

Early bird ticket will be on sale from 12pm on 24th of October 2012, Wednesday onwards both physically at the AFA SHOP, in *SCAPE and online via Event CliQue. Likewise, I’m assuming the same purchase method will be available for the “late bird packages”.

**Please note that the movie tickets do not grant you access to the Festival or Stage segments. Also folks entering to watch the movie will have their bags checked for cameras as they are not allowed into the venue during the screening. Any video recording or picture taking is prohibited. Cameras will be kept in storage until after the movie**

As to add on to what I’ve seen online and on various social media,

1. The price of 45 SGD (early bird) is rather reasonable. Do note that you’re paying for 2 movies with all the goodies
2. The autographed shiki might be a replica, but hey, it’s an awesome good!
3. From what I know, the booklet is priced around 1,800 yen in Japan (you have to purchase it)
4. Take with a pinch of salt that what you’re paying for is for the goods and the movie ticket.
5. Movie 1 is at 120 minutes, and Movie 2: 90 minutes. 210 minutes for SGD45.
6. If you’re unhappy about missing out the festival+stage stuff because of the movie, don’t go
7. It’s true that you only have 30 minutes to shop as doors open at 9am; the movie is at 9.30am. So either get a friend to whack the goods for you or just miss a bit of the movie
