The official website for the upcoming Gekijō-ban Toriko Bishokushin no Special Menu film has been updated with a teaser trailer.

The ongoing television series follows title character Toriko, a “bishokuya” (gourmet food provider) who travels the world to hunt down the strange animals and plants needed for the finest cuisine dishes. The movie will deal with Acacia the Bishokushin (“Gourmet God”) and the secret special menu that lies dormant on a fabled island. Funimation has been streaming the series as it airs in Japan since its premiere last year and will release the third DVD set on March 19.
Gekijō-ban Toriko Bishokushin no Special Menu will open in Japanese theaters on July 27.
Not particularly keen on this movie since I dropped the anime after a few episodes.. What about you?

Oh,,, I’m totally awaiting this. My fav anime ever! :) Manly series + badass main characters. Reminds u of Hokuto no Ken, somehow. I dunno… I just love it. If u give it a shot, it may grow on u. Fights are also well animated. Anyway,,, totally need this movie :)))
its mainly the character designs that doesn’t attract me, sad to say >_< nevertheless there are other folks who enjoy the anime!
