Evangelion Burger is 9 Patties Size

How do you celebrate the release of Rebuild of Evangelion: 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo? Well Japanese fast food chain Lotteria will offer a “Q-Dan Cheeseburger”. The burger comes with nine layers of patties and cheese, topped with an all-original Spear of Longinus fork for 1,280 yen.

Why 9 patties? Well its a pun on the pronunciation of number 9 in Japanese, Kyu. Tiil May 31, the chain is also holding a random drawing campaign. The lucky winner will win a 158 cm, life-size, articulated Rei figure as seen below:
