Good Smile Company English Website Launch

Over at DannyChoo, it has been announced that the English website for Good Smile Company is finally up ^^. It is still in beta mode, so there might be some bugs here and there. Overall, the site looks fantastic! XD

While the English Version was launched first, the Japanese Version would follow within the next few weeks!

The Figurine Release page is awesome. There are summaries beside each figurine thumbnail, you don’t see that at the Japanese Version. Well, maybe when Danny gets it done, it will too ^^ All in all, …

Fall 2008 Anime Line-up

Fall…. new school Semester… the time of year when I loose my mind suffering from evil allergies 24/7, My Birthday, and a whole new line up of series to make my suffering worth while! And I have to say this is the best they’ve had to offer in a while.

Gundam 00 Season 2 Trailer

Gundam 00 Season 2 is to be released this coming October 5 2008. I am looking forward to the show myself. This is one anime that I will be catching for Fall 2008 ;)

Lucky Star OVA TV Commercial Stream

The official Japanese website for the anime series Lucky Star is currently streaming the tv commercial for the Lucky Star OVA which is going to be released this September 29 2008.

Kagami is cosplaying as Miku Hatsune while Konata is Yuki Nagato. Seeing my 2 faves of the Lucky Stars so moe~ and kawaii, I can’t wait for the OVA to be out.
Also, the OVA is said to be 30 minutes long.

Studio Ghibli’s Latest Hit

Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea is a new film produced by Studio Ghibli and written by Hayao Miyazaki. Said to be released July 19 2008 in Japan, it will be a good few months before we can get the film at our local theaters.

This film is Miyazaki’s ninth film with Studio Ghibli. The plot centers on a goldfish named Ponyo who desperately wants to be a human. In pursuing her goal, she befriends a five-year-old human boy, Sousoke. Miyazaki has been working on this film since October 2006 …

Experiment with Copyright Material in Japan come 2009

Sure all Singaporeans know about censorship in the latest Zero no Tsukaima Episode 6 where there were yuri! scenes(tooked out). And several people obtaining letters from Odex recently. However, let’s not get upset as ANN has just announced that Japan’s Minisitry of Affairs is going to lete users experiment with copyright materials without any legal worries in the year 2009.

Such materials will include net-distributed video and music that have been authorized by the copyright holders. However, “only specific participants will be allowed to enter” the zones.

Code Geass R2 100,000 Discs & DVDS?

Old news, but what one hears normally is that people buying figurines/merchandises,etc tends to give up on purchasing the anime series DVDS. But Code Geass R2 is really popular, to the extent that Bandai Visual has reported of shipping 100,000+ Blu-Ray Discs and DVDS. The figures itself are shocking!!

I myself has never shipped a R2 region DVD simply because I do not have the language to comprehend. I normally go for R1, and they take a long time to be licensed sometimes =/
What about you? Do you go for R1/R2? …
