An animation of some sort for the the manga and PSP game .Hack//Link is currently in production. It will not be a television series, though what exactly they have planned is not explained in any detail. Soon after, Singapore’s Media Development Authority (MDA) lifted the ban and instead put a M18 rating on the box cover so as to “enable highly anticipated games to be launched in Singapore”.
