So the last time I did a post on Saki was sometime around 3 weeks back and I’ve an itch to write about it again. Why? Because it’s so awesome they take 5 weeks to play the last round of Mahjong.

Yes. This show is beginning to feel like Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu’s Endless Eight arc, without the repeating scenes each week of course. While I still very much like this show because it features:

Kanamemo this Summer 2008 is a loli show filled with yuri. Initially when I first started watching Kanamemo it was solely because of her. I didn’t even know it contains yuri-action!! Well, the yuri action is only between 2 girl characters as far as Episode 2 currently. I don’t know whether there will be any more yuri action between the girls.. I highly doubt so XD. *fingers crossed*

Canaan is based of a video game named 428: Fūsasareta Shibuya de, and Is created by type-moon who made the popular series Fate/Stay Night, and ongoing movie series Kara no Kyoukai.  After only the opening I was very impressed by the animation. The first new series I’ve watched so far this summer; Being a fan of Higurashi no Naku koro ni I just couldn’t pass this over. The first episode deals mostly with setting the plot and introducing us to an exhausting list of characters which hopefully will die soon enough that I don’t have to remember most of their names.
