Namco Bandai has released a trailer for Macross Frontier -Sayonara no Tsubasa- Hybrid Pack. On one blu-ray, you can get to watch the movie Macross Frontier -Sayonara no Tsubasa- and play a PS3 flight game based off it!

First 2 mins and 30 seconds shows the movie while the rest of it gives us a glimpse of the gameplay.

Sheryl Nome gets another figurine release from Megahouse. This time in sexy red version! Previously she was in a blue outfit, and the folks decided to poison more Sheryl fans by releasing this maroon(?) red outfit. In addition to that, you can remove her top :O.

Nakajima Megumi – CM Ranka [Macross F Movie]

Another single by Ranka Lee! Er.. I meant Nakajima Megumi, who voices Ranka in Macross Frontier ^^”. This single features the ED song of the Macross Frontier Movie ~Itsuwari no Utahime~. The single was released last week, on 16 December 2009. Single contains the ED song and other insert songs which only last for 1 plus minutes ><. The only decent song in the single is probably the first track, “Sou dayo.”

I am a big fan of Ranka, but I kinda prefer her songs with a fast moving-beat. Slow-moving songs are not my type. Maybe I need to watch the movie before I can pass my verdict on the ED song :D.

Looks nice. But I haven’t watched Macross Frontier yet, and it’s not my practice to buy figurines without knowing the character XD.

Macross Frontier Movie Updates

The Macross Frontier movie titled “The False Songstress” will be released as two different movies; the first of the two is scheduled for November 21st this fall.

The official website of the Macross Frontier anime series has confirmed that there will be two theatrical Macross Frontier films.

For those of you who were living under a rock last year~ Macross is the equivalent of Cute Japanese Pop singers Mixed with Gundam. To save their space colonies they combine armies of mecha and beautiful songstresses. I reviewed the final episode a while back. I believe the movies will be a remake of the series which is kind of disapointing; but hopefully we’ll get more lovely songs out of it.

With the release date set for November that means I have about 5 months to ~~force~~ convince Zenical to watch the series xP
