How long do you think you can lie and trick people into believing that you are someone special or talented? Well this College Lecturer managed to trick two universities into believing that he is Takeshi Honda for 8 YEARS.

Khara, the anime studio founded by Evangelion creator and director Hideaki Anno, announced on Friday that a person had been misappropriating the name of Khara animator Takeshi Honda to teach at two universities.

However the real Honda has not been teaching classes in universities or vocation schools. In an investigation that it began last year, Khara has been gathering evidence from students about a part-time lecturer teaching under Honda’s name at the Joshibi University of Art and Design’s College of Media Arts and Shobi University. The fake Honda had been teaching at Joshibi from April of 2001 to January of 2009.

The fake Honda even told people at Joshibi University that Takeshi Honda was his working name. He further claimed that his disciple took over his working name “Takeshi Honda” and production resume when he left the field. Khara says that all these claims are fake and since then, the fake Honda has resigned from his teaching positions.

Well ain’t people gullible nowadays. It actually took a whole 8 years for people to investigate and find out that he is a fake! And seriously, why would anyone believe that a successful guy would leave the field, and let his disciple to take over his production resume? Seriously!
