Inuyasha: Final Season Announced
Apparently the series Inuyasha is immortal. After airing 167 episodes and getting no where it had finally ended back in 2004… I don’t know what kind of conclusion it was since I only had the patience to watch the first two seasons. Well apparently its conclusion wasn’t good enough, because another FINAL season of Inuyasha has been announced.
According to Weekly Shounen Sunday vol.34, a new season of Inu Yasha was announced to be aired from this autumn. It’s the final chapter of the series titled “Inu Yasha Kanketsu-hen” and the original staff and cast will animate the manga volumes 36 – 56.
My only reaction…. Well now we have a remake of Fullmetal Alchemist… Another season of Inuyasha….WHY can’t they remake some good series now! *Specifically my Rurouni Kenshin. D=

I haven’t watched Inuyasha before, but wow they’ve decided to end it properly?
My sister would be really happy if Kenshin would be remade, but one can only hope for now.

I actually liked InuYasha, but I was 13 when I started watching it, somehow I stopped watching after like 150 episodes. Admittedly, the Band of Seven arc was quite well done.

oh fuck, now I’m gonna have to watch this because I sat through all 167 episodes D8

[...] also probably see more remade series of previously popular series. Full Metal Alchemist, and the new season of Inuyasha are the first things that come to mine. Or other series making spin off movies to milk newer series [...]
[...] announcement is separate from the new season of Inuyasha that was announced last [...]
Finally!!! I have been waiting for what seems like forever for them to finish InuYasha the right way. I mean they really left the story unfinished. The bad guys still alive and the jewl is uncompletly and lets not forget that InuYasha still doesn’t know who he wants to be with… plus what will Kagome do? I’m so excited.. Although i live in the US sooo I have to wait longer for it to be translated.. It’s a bummer but I still can’t wait till it is over here!!!!

I’d love it if they actually remade Kenshin…. or at least added the damn Jinchuu Arc…. That’s kind of the MAIN STORY of the whole series! The OVA’s didn’t even come close to finishing the storyline. (they were actually about to start that until the studio ran out of money….)
[Reply]
@ Kurando: EXACTLY xD
Its a shame they ran out of money… they tried to shrink that ENTIRE arc into about 5 minutes of one of the OVA’s…
But it was 1/2 of the story lol. It doesn’t work like that. Even the original series could be improved with better animation; besides the shishio battle and a few other prime moments the quality frequently dipped very low.

well epi 167 didnt really conclude the story… I was told by my bro the story complete until i finished epi 167 to realize that Naraku didnt die yet…
so the final act is going to be the conclusion .. of all ending … now Animax showing the 2nd epi.. so cant wait for it :D

FINALLY they’re finishing InuYasha i love that show it is awesome and I’ve been waiting for them to finish it cuz the ending in ep. 167 was not conclusive at all

wow, the writer of this article makes inuyasha sound like it sucks when it is, in my opinion, the best anime out there.

I don’t think the season number counts… MyAnimeList lists it seperately like a new series.

Since its been so long since the last installment I think its appropriate to seperate it.
