Microsoft Denies Slim 360 Rumors
With the PS3 Slim hitting stores next week with a price of 299 dollars, the next rumor is – Slim 360 too?
Despite being Microsoft’s current top selling model, production of the the Xbox 360 Pro has already stopped, Aaron Greenberg, director of product management for xbox 360, said.
The 120GB Xbox 360 Elite will sell for $299.99, while the popular 60GB Xbox 360 Pro will be cut to $249.99.
Yes that’s right, like I announced a few days ago, there is going to be a price drop of the Xbox 360.
Though Greenberg claimed that the price drop of the Xbox consoles that was announced just one week after Sony revealed their new sleek PS3 Slim(with a price cut) is purely coincidental, I have my doubts on this. This looks like a price war to me. =D.
And Sony have been denying rumors of the slim PS3 – and look, PS3 Slim announced!!! LOL. So it’s not wrong to wonder whether there will be a Slim 360 now. XD

If they do release a Slim 360…. it would behoove them to improve it’s horrible failure rate. (which i might add may be over 50%). A price drop or a slim model wouldn’t prompt me to buy a 360, at least not until they fix all of the issues with the system itself. There’s a reason they call the 360 the “Failbox” you know lol.
