PS3 Slim Pictures
Rumors have been floating around that a PS3 Slim will be released..
Game Wave posted a picture of the “possible” PS3 Slim on the cover of their upcoming issue, along with a blurb that the console is debuting at the end of next month. The picture of the PS3 is fan-made btw.
What’s more, it states that the new console will be shown at the German expo Gamescom on the 18th of August.
18th of August sounds very familiar. It seems that lots of stuff are lined up for the 18th of August. I recently received an email from Sony stating that I get to extend my PS3 warranty for 90 more days. I will be able to do so on the 17/18 of August. Can’t really remember the exact date..
And if you remember my LBP post, we were told to check back the PS Blog on the 18th of August 2009 for something interesting.. Hmm..
Oh Sony, just what are you up to now? XD.

@ Bluesnow: the look factor is just as important. The current PS3 has lots of problems, lens dying, etc. If they make it slimmer, I can’t think what would happen to the next gen of PS3. Overheating? =/

@ kurando: Forgot what currency was that in.. It doesn’t matter to me, if it’s USD, it would be around 500 dollars here, which is like a little bit cheaper than the sold-out 80GB PS3 here. Haha.
