Suzumiya Haruhi In Chewing Gum Ad
TV Advertisements are such a bore to watch. Imagine my surprise today when I read that there is a Chewing Gum TV Ad featuring Haruhi, Yuki and Mikuru in it! Actor Ikuta Toma stars alongside the anime stars, but of course the craze is all over the anime characters and not him. LOL.
According to Oricon New, Suzumiya Haruhi and gang will costar alongside Ikuta Toma in a TV commercial clip of Lotte’s new chewing gum “ACUO”. The ad will be aired from April 5 in Japan.
In case the YouTube Video gets removed, here is a quick summary of the Ad:
A man chewing ACUO visits a boutique. He turns a shopgirl there into Mikuru by his “cool” breath. The manager complains to the man that “How come you changed her into anime!?”. He apologizes to the manager but his breath turns the manager into Haruhi. He runs out of the shop in a furry and turns the alley cats into Yukis.
