Odaiba Gundam Gone, But Miniature Gundam Available

The 1/1 scale Gundam might not be there anymore, but a 30cm model of the life-sized Gundam is available.

The statue has a weight of 4 kilograms(wow!) and is 30cm tall.
Out Spring 2010, yours for 81,900 yen. You can buy around 9-10 1/8 scale figurines with the money.. The cost of this statue is definitely huge, even though it’s a miniature model T_T. I wonder what it is made of? That it could actually weigh up to 4 kg?

What would you do if you found lost items on the train? Finders Keepers? Or will you pass it over to the train station staff and tell them that you found it on the train?

Items lost and found – may not be claimed by respective owners. So overtime the Lost and Found section will definitely be overwhelmed with items! So what did Japan Railways do to get rid of the items?
Instead of throwing away everything that wasn’t claimed – They had a special sale on August 25, 2009 in Osaka.

Everything …

99,800 Yen iPhone Case

The economy must be getting better over in Japan as there are 99,800 yen iPhone cases going for sale! The casing is actually more than the iPhone?!

Japan Texture cases from SoftBank BB are all handcrafted and have referential nods to significant moments and concepts in Japanese history and culture.

Upon further research, I found out that Softbank actually released Japan Texture Part 1 designs back in April 2009. Each case was going at a retail price of 39,800 yen. There were only 50 pieces of each design.

Lol would you pay …

As we move nearer to the Fall season (which is October) – It dawned on me. 2009 is coming to an end, soon! Alas, I noticed that lots of figurines updates have been posted: Delays and delays!
Just last week I heard news of Fate T.Harlaown getting delayed. Upon checking the Alter’s Website, I found out it was true! Truth was, I don’t know whether I should feel happy that she’s getting delayed (My wallet will feel better this month), but the month of October will be a killer XD.

Besides Feito, …

Shinkansen Line Is a Stage for Her

For many, taking public transport is a form of travel, but not for Kumiko Moki, who’s 29-years-old this year. She is a “charismatic sales staffer” aboard the Tsubasa bullet train on the JR Yamagata Shinkansen Line.

When she was a high school student, Moki was a “kogyaru” and studied nothing. A kogyaru is a teen gal having the fashion to wear an outfit based on a Japanese school uniform, but with a shortened skirt, loose socks, and often other modifications as well. After graduating from school, she would go to a …
