14 Anime Singers Helping To Fight World Hunger

14 anime singers have recorded John Lennon’s “Imagine” song in a charity effort to fight world hunger. The song is available for download since last Friday(Not available for download services outside of Japan). 100 yen from the proceeds of each download of the song will go to the World Food Programme (WFP) – United Nations organization that fights world hunger and poverty.

Do as Infinity and AAA for Inuyasha Theme Songs

An advertisement for the upcoming Inuyasha: The Final Act anime series has confirmed that the pop music group Do as Infinity will perform the anime’s opening theme song. Inuyasha: The Final Act will return next month, October 3.

Fans of Inuyasha will definitely remember Do as Infinity as they performed the ending theme songs for the first Inuyasha television anime series.
The “super entertainment group” AAA will perform the new anime’s ending theme song.

An Cafe, a famous Visual-Kei band, will be suspending activities after their live concert on January 4 2010, at the Nippon Budokan.

Announced on the official website on Monday – The band had many discussions with their staff, and it was decided that the members would take some time to recharge and prepare for an eventual restart of the band. However, the length of their hiatus was not specified.
