I am Going to Japan!
I will be visiting Japan next month ^_^. It will be sort of my first time overseas by PLANE. Yes I sound pathetic; Since I was schooling, I didn’t have time to fly to other countries for holidays. I had extra curricular activities commitments. So this time round, it will be a pretty exciting trip for me! ^_^
I will be following a tour with my mother, so meh, the trip will be pretty short and all, but still, this is a trip sponsored by my parents, so why not? =D
I will be stopping by Akiba and yes, hope I will not get amazed by the stuff there, because I will go fangirl mode at almost everything I guess.. LOL. And in addition, I will be stopping at Shinjuku too. Hopefully I will not be tired at night during my trip there, because I want to have the energy to take the train to Shibuya to shop at Tower Records and HMV! ^_^
Yes I heart Miso Ramen
I am still in the midst of my research as to the shops in Akiba, Shinjuku and Shibuya. Hopefully this trip will be somewhat pleasant for me; it is afterall my first trip overseas by a plane ><
Anyone has any guides to introduce to me or share your experience, please do post here ^_^ arigato gozaimasu!

My parents promised a trip to Japan after I get my medical school admission, at least it’s something that’ll keep me motivated >.>
Congrats, you will have an amazing time!
Lucky you. ^_^
Yeah, one of my goals is to make it there even if it’s just once in my life. ^^
Awwww im so envious!
You should check out Meronpans blog.He posted an Akiba guide a few months back
Have fun :D
Aww lucky!
I was supposed to go to Japan on my 18th birthday, but due to certain circumstances I never go to go.
Hope you have fun and get lots of souvenirs and pictures!
Hey, good for you! Must be exciting to have your first overseas trip on a plane!
My experience on Akihabara is limited, as I simply ran into almost every shop I see and see whether there are anything that grabs my interest. Just as what Blowfish has said, meronpan’s guide maybe of some help to you.
@ GNDynames: Lol, they will keep their promise! continue working hard XD
@ James: Thanks i hope so too XD
@ Optic: I have friends going there as though Japan is next door only (wait they’re not really otaku, ARGH, im so jealous!)
@ Blowfish: oo, thanks alot, do I need to bring you anything back? ^^
@ Minaru: we are still young, the chance will come.. This is my first time sitting a plane (the last time I sat was when i was 4 years old, and I have no recollection). Took me 20 years to sit a plane eh? =X
@ Q: Any shops you would recommend me? lol
Um my memory is poor, but try to avoid purchasing in big shops such as Animate or Sofmap due to their relatively high pricetags (but it’s still good to browse around there). I recall that リバティー (Liberty) is a good chain hobby store that can have pretty good deals for gunpla and figures.
But overall, since you’re there, don’t hesitate and get what you really want, because one may never know when s/he gets to go back again in the future.
Hi !
I’ ll be in japan in May. When do you go ?
