It seems that Kadokawa Anime Channel is streaming the first two episodes of the anime series Basquash on Youtube!

Curious whether Basquash is worth catching, I checked up the plot summary from ANN. Here it is as quoted:

On the planet Earthdash, its inhabitants gaze on its moon and the technologically advanced lunar city of Mooneyes with awe. Dan JD, a boy living in Rollingtown on Earthdash’s surface, gets caught up in Bigfoot Basketball — a fast-paced sport played with giant Bigfoot robots.

It sounds fun, a mixture of mecha plus sports? Maybe I’ll catch the first episode and see how the story proceeds ^^.

The first two episodes of Satelight’s Basquash! robot basketball anime series will be streamed at YouTube from May 1 to May 7 to mark Japan’s Golden Week holidays.

It seems that lots of anime series are getting streamed on YouTube and Crunchyroll. I wonder whether we will come to a day where fansubbing is not required anymore? Everyone will be streaming their anime instead O_O. I can’t imagine that. Haha.

In all honesty I don’t really like sports anime~ and I only like Mecha with a decent story linexD
So Sports mecha seems like the worst combination physically possible…
Actually that would be sports Mecha hentai but I’d rather not even think about that O_____o
    *shivers

I know somone who is obsessed with the seiyuus of this series though.
    Since I don’t know any seiyuu’s besides my Tamaki’s sama’s though I have no idea who’s in it~

-Fansubbing is still needed for 1 simple reason.

Cruncyroll blocks out videos to people not living in the US.

The day where everything becomes digital, may possibly be the day piracy comes to a grinding stop.

On another note. Basquash. I watched Episode 1. Ended up fast forwarding to the end and dropping it and never touching it again,
