I was reading random anime news here, and laughed at the list of most popular anime songs outside of Japan. This list only applies to song appearances based on “rental fees” such as on TV, Karaoke, and Radio ect ect ect…

Of that list I’m only familiar with 4 of those anime, and have only actually seen 2 of them (and both of those two I saw dubbed when I was little, so I probably didn’t hear the original Japanese bgm).

After laughing for a bit I decided to look at the songs I listen to and compile a list of the ones I listen to the most (not based on preference) to see if its a better list. (Much to Zenical’s dismay I only have 1 YUI song on my I-pod~ So YUI is not on my list xD). My list also included video game and other Otaku-ish songs.

^ I laughed when I saw that was number 3. That is actually a song I got from anime, but it was not on any of the osts, I had to search for a long time before I found it.  Its From this scene in Rurouni Kenshin (I is not Addict Zen =3) It also played in the Itazura na Kiss episode where she’s stalking her crush who is out on a “date” with his possible foriegn fiance.
