What do you get when you mix Wario Ware, Mario Paint, And RPG Maker? Apparently the new Wario Ware game “Made in Ore.” (Horrible Engrish? Meaning “Made Myself.”, I believe the official English title Will just be “Myself“) For those of you who have not played Wario Ware games before they are a mixture short short addictive mini games (literally 10 seconds or less) that you play on a timer. These games are the most random things you can think of… like picking someone’s nose or unrolling a roll of paper towels. The games mechanics I believe were mastered in the Nintendo DS’s Wario Ware Touch’d. Whats unique about this game is you can make the mini games yourself!

From the screenshots I’ve found on the official site it looks like the old Mario Paint game for the SNES. You could make things like pictures and music in Mario paint… but you could never really do anything with them, so the game got old pretty quick… most of the time I played Mario Paint I played the “swat the fly” mini-game which was completely irrelivent to the point of the game.

I mentioned RPG maker, because its the only other game I can think of that lets you make your own game. When I first learned about a game that let you make your own RPG’s I thought it was a sign that I was destined to become and epic famous video game producer… till I got about 10 minutes in and realized that it was the most boring thing I had ever done my entire lifexD I only ever made the first town and my initial party… and then everything got too complicated and I gave up. The good part about Wario Ware games is because the mini-games are so short it shouldn’t be a problem for my ADD levels of concentration.
