With all the anticipation for new announcements at E3 I nearly forgot to check about updates on games I already know about, like the beautiful Murasama the Demon Blade for the Wii which is expected to be released in the US this September (Just in time for my Birthday! =D).

You can control either the young princess Momohime or the young ninja Kisuke journeying across Japan beating the crap out of armies and demons based on Japanese mythology.  Disregarding the plot the artwork for the game is AMAZING, and the fighting seems to flow very beautifully. Probably the most artistic Gem since Okami.

When I heard it was for the Wii I was a little worried, the Wii mote doesn’t really lend itself to games like this, but it does allow for players to use the classic controller. Here are some more screen shots and game play footage from E3.
