K-ON! Album Tops Oricon Chart
Last week I posted up the music tracks from the mini album [Afterschool Teatime] of K-ON! which featured the various songs they sang in the anime.

This album is the first anime character CD release to top either the weekly album or single chart of the Oricon survey firm.
The CD release sold 67,000 copies to debut at #1 on the latest weekly album chart. No other album credited to fictional anime characters has ever reached that high. [ANN Via Oricon]
If you’re interested to buy the album, do check it out at CDJapan. You can also read my review on the album here before buying ^^.
I wonder how many fanboys actually bought multiple copies of the album? Lulz.

congrats to K-ON!
the opening and ending song’s single albums did quite well too right?
