1/8 Mikoto Misaka Swimsuit Version Preview
Spotted this over at Kotobukiya’s Blog. Preview shots of 1/8 scale figurine of Mikoto Misaka from the anime series To Aru Kagaku no Railgun. Swimsuit is <3!
The figurine is sculpted from this image of her:
Retail pricing at 5,800 yen, scheduled for a December 2009 release.
Sadly she’s a Dengeki Daioh magazine mail order exclusive. Reservations for her already started since 27 July 2009 and will close on 26 August 2009. Interested buyers can contact Tokyo Hunter for those interested in acquiring her!
I like Mikoto but I’m not gonna burn my wallet for an exclusive which will cost more than a regular release. No doubt magazine exclusive releases are always nicer.. but, I can resist XD. Hopefully there will be more figurines of Mikoto once Fall starts airing To Aru Kagaku no Railgun. Let the poison begin!^_^

As a swimsuit fan, I’m saying YE- NO!!!.
I think I’ve piratically given up on exclusives. Ever since I failed to get figma lily saber alone, I seem to lost the desire to hunt for the other ones I want.
Looks like my wallet is happy with this failure. lol
lol exclusives after exclusives… There surely are a lot of those this year.
As someone only recently getting getting into the figures, this one is pretty cute… Exclusive huh…. hmmm.. tempting
I’m not one for exclusives, but I can’t pass off the chance for anything Misaka Mikoto related. I’ll find a way to get the cash before August 26 for sure.
Also I am quite interested in those chibified mini-figures next to the swimsuit Misaka poster.

@ gritts: Lol only recently? Slow and steady =). There’re a lot of regular releases figurines that I’m sure you laid your eyes on some already. That is why I nv bothered to go for exclusives XD
