With the launch of the new PS3 Slim, what do you guys think of the new PS3 Slim as compared to PS3 Phat? Design wise I still prefer the PS3 Phat, compared to the PS3 Slim. I actually saw the model of the PS3 Slim at an IT Event, boy, it looked a little weird to me T_T.

PS3 Slim in Other Colours

Guys over at ColorWare are coating the new PS3 Slim in other colors beside the usual PS3 Slim black we are seeing now. There’s even a yellow PS3 Slim! OMG O_O. Want!

You can mix-and-match a variety of colors for the lid, base, logo and your controllers, including glossy primaries, pastels, and even metallics. And as is always the case with ColorWare, their colors are coated with a double layer of scratch-resistant coating to keep the paint good as new.

PS3 Slim in Other Colours

Seeing that Sony did start selling PSP consoles of many colors, it’s not a surprise if we were to see some official colours of the PS3 Slim in the future..

Colours are a nice idea but I prefer if Sony release custom skins like the 360 so we can decorate our little beast. xD
    *Wants a Alicia skin* xD

Hmm.. I like the original black PS3 slim just the way it is. But I guess it can’t hurt to have a few more choices to choose from =)

The white one would be alright if it had more of a shine and didn’t have RED text xD
Someone would have to pay me to get school bus yellow lol.
I’d probably stick with the black as well.

The lack of blue makes me very sad D=

    Oh really o___o
If they are only demo pictures I wonder why they chose such ugly colors xD
Maybe because fall is coming up? Yellow… Orange… Black… is Halloween colors lol.

And LOL! I wouldn’t paint my system myself xD
Although… I did end up having my PS1 painted White… but not on purpose. Its survived surprise paint spill, falling out of a window, being eaten by dogs… and played alot more than any other system… and its still in better condition than my ps2… I wish all modern day consoles were that resilient.

I think the classic black is best. The colors really don’t go with anything else in your room.

I think the classic black is the best as well, though I wouldn’t mind the orange-black or the Final Fantasy XIII one =D
