Kyoto Animation Wants You to Write Their Next Anime!

Kyoto wants you

Artistically Talented? Have some good ideas? Know Japanese? Then you may want to consider submitting an entry towards the Kyoto Animation Award. They are accepting Manga, Novels, or Scripts. The Deadline is January 10, and the results will be published in the spring. From the sounds of the description it isn’t a 100% chance any ideas will actually be published… only if they are “Received with High Esteem.” For more information you can look at their official site; they list the rules of entry (which specifically say no non-Japanese language for those curious.)

I’m actually tempted to enter myself with my kindergarten level Japanese for the lolz =D
The rules seem a little complicated though.

For those of you that haven’t heard of Kyoto Animation before, they are responsible for Series like The Melancholy of  Haruhi Suzumiya and related epic trolls , K-ON, Clannad (And other KEY series adaptions), and Full Metal Panic (When am I getting another season KyoAni D=).
