Eva 2.0 Wins 1st in Animation at Lyon Asian Film Fest

The staff blog of the Symphony in August anime film reported on Wednesday that Hideaki Anno and Khara’s Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance anime film “narrowly” won first place in the animation category of the Lyon Asian Film Festival in France this past week.

Good news for the animation movie. Have you caught it yet? I am watching it next friday in cinemas with fellow comrades. Gonna be a blast with them :D.

If the movie isn’t showing at the local cinema near you, do wait for the DVD or Blu-ray release!

It’s a very good movie, a lot enhanced scenes… very entertaining… and importantly not as confusing as the first one…

I really want to watch both of them. I always say I will but then I get interrupted by someone.

I really want to see them on the “big screen” as well but sadly, they aren’t being shown close enough to me to be worth the travel. I’m patiently waiting for the Blu-Ray editions in the US and a vacation day where I am the only one home to watch them. (Cranked loud of course)

This movie is downright awesome. Sadly, it uses to many “flashing lights” which gave me quite a bad headache =( but other than that, I loved every part of it. (the headache made me sleep a little and I missed Asuka’s part!!! ARRGH!!)
