How crazy are you over Gundams?

So how many of you here has built a Gundam before? You know how much hard work it takes right? So imagine a scenario where your suspect your mom wants to throw it all away. Does that justify attempted suicide by trying to burn down your house with you inside? Apparently this man in Kasai city seems to think so.

Police in Kasai City near Kobe have arrested a 29-year-old factory worker named Yoshifumi Takabe on suspicion of burning down his own home on Sunday. The suspect reportedly doused his room …

Bandai’s Less Known SD Gundam Statue

Sure you heard of the famous 1/1 scale Gundam in Odaiba, but did you knew of the chibi Gundam Statue in front of Bandai’s Headquarters in Asakusa? ^^

Well he needs some love and attention too XD. Can’t blog about his 1/1 Gundam brother all the way! LOL.
From a comment over at muza-chan, it looks like:
That cute little guy was their mascot for the mini-Gundam Festa in Ikebukuro last summer. He was outside the inner doors to the Toyota Amlux building for a few days leading up to the festa, and …

The 1/1 scale RX-78 Gundam opened officially yesterday, July 11th 2009. It will be on display for 2 months at Odaiba’s Shiokaze Park. Fans of Gundam should really make a trip down there to see the magnificent 1/1 scale Gundam. I know I will!

Fret not if you are unable to make your way down to Japan personally to view the 50-foot-tall Gundam, you can view him digitally from Japan Playstation Home.
You just need a Japan PSN account in order to do so ;). The Gundam can be viewed from July …

The statue marks the 30th anniversary of the first anime series in the Mobile Suit Gundam space war anime franchise.
The statue will be officially on display for two months starting on July 11. It is …

Nice Gundam Legs

Bluesnow pointed this out to me a few days ago. Gundam legs!

Work has started on the “life-sized” Gundam. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the mecha anime/manga/toy/video game franchise, an 18-meter-tall (59-foot-tall) Gundam statue will be erected in Tokyo this July.
If only such events were held around the world, well.. Gundam is quite famous everywhere. Even anime fans here in Singapore who do not really support anime (tsk) do know of the mighty Gundams XD.
The only memorable gundam model I saw was a human-sized Gundam Exia in Singapore last year(excluding …

Books Loot Post: More Nana For Me?

Alas, another parcel has just been delivered to me! (Maybe a few hours agoXD) Delivered directly from Amazon Japan. Well well, what is in the box this time?

Before I go on what is in the box.. Let me touch on the mangas I bought 2 days back(procrastination really gets the best of me)

Kinokuniya was having their annual end-of-year 20% off for members, so I grabbed two manga that I might read – Well I hardly read mangas now because I have too many anime and tv series to watch that …

This post will be pretty short and sweet.
