PS3 Slim Launch
With the PS3 Slim hitting stores everywhere this month, how will sales be? The PS3 Phat console is the lowest selling console in Japan. So what about PS3 Slim?
There was even a special launch event at the Yodobashi Camera in Akihabara.

It looks like there are quite a number of people getting the PS3 Slim that day. Besides, it was a working day, so folks working might have picked up their PS3 Slim after work. Will be looking forward to the stats! Will DSi remain #1 for the sales of gaming consoles? ^_^”

I’m sure the PS3 Slim will sell well but will it top the No. 1 sales charts? I don’t think so.
Face it, many of the core gamers already have a PS3 and not many are willing to trade their old for the new. They will still need to pay half it’s price when trading in and I reckon it’s not worth it.

I’ve already seen PS3 Slim boxes at wal-mart here in the States. If i didn’t already have a (new) PS3, i would have gotten the slim. *sigh*
