PSPgo is No Go with Dutch Retailer?

According to Kotaku, there is a report on Eurogamer, Dutch chain Nedgame - the country’s largest specialist games retailer - are refusing to stock Sony’s PSPgo.

Why?

This is because of the more expensive pricing of the PSPgo, as compared with the PSP-3000. Also the PSPgo’s screen is smaller than the previous models of the PSP, hence the higher price does not justify at all. A more obvious reason is that Nedgame cannot sell PSPgo games anymore, since the games can now be bought online.

It’s quite retarded that they are just boycotting the PSPgo because of that. There are a number of consoles in the market, and the PSPgo is just one of them. They can still depend on the other game consoles to earn profit. I have to agree profits might drop.. but boycotting is wrong. What if Sony refuses to sell any other of their consoles/games to Nedgame anymore? XD.

^I think its the Dutch way of tell Sony to *uck off xD
Sony just has a way of making everyone hate them~ Which is a shame since Their systems are nice.
UK isn’t very happy with them either.

List of Reasons why no one should buy the PSPGO

    1. STILL nothing to cover the screen.
    2. STILL no right analog stick
    3. Smaller Screen, and more cramped Buttons
    4. You could *cough Play downloaded games on the normal PSP xP
    5. In the off chance you like Physical Media you are screwed since now there is no USB Drive
—- You also can no longer Sell back used games for Money with this system. In other words if the Games Stinks~ You have no way of getting reimbursed for any of it.
    6. Embedded battery that can not be changed~ Multiple problems lie in this
—- Said Battery Can not be changed (So if you liked having an extra battery for Long trips since the battery life is so short you no longer can do this.)
    — Said Battery lasts as long as the normal PSP Battery… This insinuates its actually WORSE since what killed the battery before was the USB Drive which no longer exsists.
    — If your battery dies you have to return it to sony to get it fixed~ In a similar fashion to Apple I-pods
    7. The Huge problem is… They took away alot of elements… But are still charging the same price for the machine as the normal PSP. Logically it should be less expensive. Sure the games will be cheaper… But Now it is easy to buy Used games cheaply online~ With Digital Content this is not possible. Some of the prices don’t even seem that good… 39.99 for a new psp game? Since there is no physical Media, No case, no Instruction Guide, no cost of shipment, not Middleman game store~ I can’t help but feel like they’re pocketing MORE money.
    8. Not enough Games to draw in a new audience. And People that already have a psp… very few are going to buy a new one xP

Lol I really see no point in buying a PSPGo… With just $50 USD more you can get a PS3 Slim!! I think something went wrong in the marketing department in Sony…. =S

The PSPGo seems inferior in every way to the current PSP model (for both consumers and retailers). I don’t blame the Dutch retailer for boycotting it.
