3 More Episodes of Bakemonogatari

In passing I thought I read something about Bakemonogatari’s confusing airing schedule; they had planned 15 episodes, but only 12 episodes aired on television. The remaining three will be streamed online; the first of the last 3 episodes will air October 28. It will be a continuation of the Tsubasa Cat arc.
This was one of my favorite series from last season so I look forward to more episodes; I thought the last arc ended abruptly, but I didn’t question the logic since the series has a habit of being confusing …

The Hetalia – Axis Powers Movie!!

Well, how many of you have heard of Hetalia – Axis Powers? It’s a series of short anime episodes screened on the web, that re-imagines World War I and II. The show’s characters consists of different characters, each portraying a different country. e.g. Italia(Italy), Doiitsu(Germany) and Nihon (Japan).

The Body of Yoshito Usui Identified

On Sunday, the police have identified the body discovered at Arafune Mountain to be Usui Yoshito, Crayon Shin-chan manga creator. He was found at the foot of a cliff called Tomoiwa

He left the house to go mountain climbing on 11 September, 2009. He did not return and thus his wife made a report on his disappearance on 12 September, 2009. A climber found a body on 19 September, 2009 which police stated that the clothes resembled that of Usui’s ones.

Inuyasha: The Final Act Premieres On Animax, October 10

Good news to those who have subscribed to the Animax channel! The long awaited final season for the Inuyasha anime series will be aired on Animax all across Asia on October 10, which is just 7 days after its debut in Japan! Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood was another anime which had the same 7-day simulcast treatment on Animax. King of Thorn is an apocalyptic movie being made by sunrise and several big name producers was originally supposed to be released in 2010 in Japan. A recent announcement claims that this movie is now going to premier in at a Spanish Film Festival this October.

China Rips Digimon, Pokemon and Naruto

Remember Digimon, Pokemon and Naruto? What do you think you will see if all 3 of the anime series are combined?!

Not long ago, 5 Centimeters Per Second was ripped off by China. And the latest update is a Chinese anime about dinosaurs that heavily borrows characters and plot line from Pokémon, Naruto and Digimon.

Nodame Live Action Movie: Trailer

It was many moons ago that live action movie adaption of ultimate Gyabo manga/anime series Nodame Cantabile was announced, and finally we get a trailer of its awesomeness. The first of the two movies is planned to be released in movie theaters on December 19th.
