Yamamoto Yutaka Apologizes For Endless Eight Arc

At Otakon 2009 session on July 19th, anime director Yamamoto Yutaka(famous for being the series organizer of the original Haruhi series and currently with Kyoto Animation) answered questions regarding “Endless Eight” arc of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 2.

Watch the Youtube video below for his comment.

If you watched the youtube video, he wasn’t apologizing on behalf of the SOS-dan production committee.
Yamamoto apologized in his blog that his remark at Otakon “on behalf of SOS-dan production committee” was misleading and corrected the expression into “as a former member of SOS-dan”. [Yamamoto’s …

Inuyasha: Final Season Announced

Apparently the series Inuyasha is immortal. After airing 167 episodes and getting no where it had finally ended back in 2004… I don’t know what kind of conclusion it was since I only had the patience to watch the first two seasons.  Well apparently its conclusion wasn’t good enough, because another FINAL season of Inuyasha has been announced.
According to Weekly Shounen Sunday vol.34, a new season of Inu Yasha was announced to be aired from this autumn. It’s the final chapter of the series titled “Inu Yasha Kanketsu-hen” and the …

Tamagotchi TV Anime to Premiere

Tamagotchi Anime will premiere this coming October.

The timeslot has not been determined yet, but it will definitely start showing early October.
Each episode will have two 15-minute, self-contained stories. The stories will follow the daily lives of the Tamagotchi and feature new characters and settings.
Don’t know whether anyone will bother to catch this since this is most likely targeted at kids and girls(I’m a girl but I don’t fancy a tamagotchi anime XD). I have a feeling it will be as horrible as the anime series Maplestory. I remember lots of …

Nodame Season Three Pushed Back

ZETSUBOU SHITA! The third season of Nodame being pushed back to winter 2010 has left me in despair!!!
Last winter it was announced that season three of Nodame would be aired this fall.  But the most recent announcement has it airing in January of 2010. I’m not too surprised actually, but Zen told me to write a post about my despair xD
With this newest announcement though there is also news that this third season will be the finale, which is unfortunate since I’m under the impression the manga is still ongoing. …

Shakugan no Shana Season 3

Last night, Bluesnow was telling me Season 3 has been confirmed for Shana. She was asking me whether I like to post this up, but the lazy me was writing this post at the point of time.
Anyway on to the news!

The July issue of ASCII MediaWorks’ Dengeki Bunko Magazine will reveal on June 10 that the “Shana Project is restarting” with a “new anime in development” for Shakugan no Shana.
It seems that recently all the popular anime shows have started making their appearances with sequels (haruhi psst). Season 3 of …

One Piece Drama

I just realized that this weekend was full of drama for the anime Once Piece.  Funimation (the North American distributor of One Piece) partnered with Toei Animation were planning to release streaming “simulcast” episodes online with English subs. Apparently Funimation’s security was breached and somehow someone was able to access and release the video for episode 403 before it even aired in Japan. In recoil Funimation has canceled (at least temporarily) simulcast of One Piece on its official site, Hulu, and Joost. Funimation is probably in deep trouble, and I …

Seikon no Qwaser Manga to Get TV Anime Adaption

I just love it when Manga gets their TV Anime Adaption. Don’t you?
The June issue of Akita Shoten Champion RED magazine will announce on Tuesday that development has begun on a television adaptation of Hiroyuki Yoshino and Kenetsu Satou’s Seikon no Qwaser manga.

The story is known for its heavy emphasis on fan service, using breast milk as the plot device (lol?!). The manga started has been running since 2006, and the seven volume will be released for sale this month in Japan. ^_^
All that is left is to wait for …

Broken Arm Delays Zipang Manga

It sucks when one has to take a break from work due to injuries. Work will pile up when you are resting at home, and when you return back to work, there are lots of work to be done -_-. Kaiji Kawaguchi , manga creator of Zipang, fractured his right arm in a bicycle accident, and therefore would be taking a hiatus from drawing until the end of May.

The accident occurred on April 14 when Kawaguchi was going out to get lunch and skidded in the rain. The fracture occurred …
