Any folks with a DS? Or DSi? Do you buy original games or do you use R4 for your gaming purposes? :D We all know that piracy is bad, and hence, Nintendo is taking further measures to combat the pirates.
Earlier this year, Nintendo announced that it and 54 software game companies were filing a lawsuit with the Tokyo District Court against companies that import “R4 Revolution”-type devices, using the Unfair Competition Prevention Law as the legal grounding.
According to Nintendo, such devices hurts the growth of the entire game industry and …

PS3 Slim was launched recently, and the PS3 Gundam Bundle that was available helped boost the PS3 sales last week. This week, it’s the two chart toppings Pokemon games that helped the DSi to reclaim it’s Number 1 spot. Pokemon Soul Silver and Heart Gold anyone?
Last week PS3 managed to sell 151,000 units and I expected the numbers to drop a lot this week, but so far it’s stil looking good. Currently, another 55, 000 units have been sold this week! =3

Scribblenauts is easily one of the most fun games that you can play on your Nintendo DS in the year 2009. It is a puzzle-action game that requires creativity and some common sense =D. The game is out today, but there were some hackers who were able to get their hands on the game before the release date and they manged to rip a full list of words(22,802 words?!) that you can write in the game. You can view the list here.
However, creative director of 5th Cell (developer of Scribblenauts) …

Beautiful and original capcom game “Okami” is finally getting a sequel on the Nintendo DS. The new title is Okamiden: Chisaki Taiyou. Not too much information has been released, but the hero of his version goes by the name “Chibiterasu” and it is planned to be released sometime in 2010.
In the origenal game you play as a wolf/god that collects mystical brush powers that allow you to perform supernatural feats to purify and defeat demons. Using your brush powers on the DS should make the controls very interesting. I just …

Got a Wii? Want to get a new controller? Time to save up! This holiday season, Nintendo will be offering black peripherals to customers in America. Looks sexy to me. LOL.
There’s also a new bundle: the black Wii Remote is available with a black version of the Wii MotionPlus accessory included. Pricing is still TBA.
A black Nunchaku with your white Wii console? Looks weird. You just need the console to be released in black now.
And it’s not impossible, seeing that Japan has started selling black Wii sets from August 1 …

Uploading games on the net does not pay!
Objection!
The Kyoto District Court found a 38-year-old man guilty of breaking the Copyright Law on Monday for distributing pirated software for the Nintendo DS console on the Internet.
Yoshiaki Asagiri was sentenced to 30 months’ in prison, 2 million yen in fines and 7.13 million yen in additional damages.
It’s also known that late last year, Asagiri was arrested for creating a website that made over 1,000 DS games available for download.
Hm, catching one might instill fear in the other uploaders, but I guess as …

Monster Hunter TRI on the Wii platform was released in Japan a few days ago, on the 1st of August 2009.
And.. looks like the game is making its way to the West early next year ^^.
Along with the game’s epic single-player battles, Monster Hunter TRI also features support for up to four players co-operatively hunting massive beasts over the internet, exploring the new underwater environments together with their best friend-coded pals. [Kotaku]
