One Outs - Episode 1
I didn’t have anything to watch, and just in time, the subs were released for this show. So I caught it, unaware of what it was going to be about(since we’re doing a fall preview overall soon..Just thought I’ll watch this)
One outs, is definitely out for me! OUT! I can’t remember the facts clearly but it’s just baseball and I took a fair share of screenshots to get me through this review.
Kojima is a hitter, star player. He was having training camp to improve himself. Unfortunately the pitcher injured his finger, so he won’t be able to play for awhile(train with Kojima). But for Kojima, he still needed to go on with practice! The only way was to get another pitcher.. And so the hunt begins.
The hunt lead to a game called One Outs, which is like gambling on baseball. Minions under Kojima(stupid desperate guy. If he wasn’t so “pissed” at his training lagging because of people getting injured) incurred debts due to their carelessness for thinking that the bet was in yen, but actually it was in USD. Oh this is quite common right? Even in shows, people do make such mistakes.. and there’s no turning back. What done, is done.
Kojima went to the same place the next night, apparently he was there to find that Japanese pitcher, Touma who had caused his minions to suffer great losses(I forgot the name here. LOL) I truely believe he went there only to test Touma’s skill, and not because he wanted to settle the debt..
Well maybe settling of the debt was like 10% of the reason he went there.
And I hate this anime, I’m not really into sports, and especially baseball theme into the anime, it doesn’t feel right to me. T_T. And that Touma guy is scary. He looks like an Akuma, not a professional pitcher =3.

It’s in the vine of gambling series such as Kaiji. I must say that you do need a bit of interest in baseball, so if you are not, it might be a bit too alternative or deep for you to appreciate it. Much of the gambling technicalities will be lost @_@
Me thinks you should try watching Ookiku Furikabutte (Big Windup!) if you want to watch a GOOD baseball anime.
But yeah, talk about fugly. Ew.
lol~
This is random anime for you to watch ZenxD
I’ve never been into IRL baseball let alone anime baseball…
So I probably won’t watch itxD
And Talking about Kaiji I should probably finish that.
I liked Prince of Tennis, Eyeshield 21 and ROOKIES for a while, but sport anime tend to get boring at some point.
FUGLY FTW!
